UPSC 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Those who wish to apply for the UPSC 2024 exam must meet the requirements outlined in the announcement. The following eligibility requirements for the UPSC Civil Service Exam 2024 must be met by the candidate:
Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens in order to be considered for the IFS, IPS, and IAS services. Candidates for the remaining services must be either Indian or
- A person of Indian origin who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or the East African nations of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India; a subject of Nepal/Bhutan; or a Tibetan refugee (arrived prior to January 1, 1962, intending to settle in India permanently).
- These applicants, however, need to present an eligibility certificate from the Indian government.
Education: To apply for the UPSC 2024 exam, candidates must have a graduate degree or an equivalent credential from any government-approved university. Applicants who are in their final year of undergraduate study are eligible to apply, but they must have the necessary paperwork by the deadline.
UPSC 2024 Age Limit
The candidate’s age on August 1, 2024, cannot be less than 21 years old nor more than 32 years old. Government regulations allow for certain categories to have an upper age relaxation in the UPSC age restriction, however there is no reduction in the minimum age limit. UPSC 2024 Application Process
